The construction of the Nanchang Comprehensive Bonded Zone High-tech Area project has officially started recently. As one of the "one zone, two parks" of the Nanchang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the construction of this project will add new advantages to Nanchang's open economy development and promote the continuous optimization of the regional business environment.
　　The Nanchang Comprehensive Bonded Zone High-tech Area project is located east of Hangkongcheng Avenue and north of Longxiang 4th Road in Nanchang High-tech Zone, with a total construction area of approximately 305,000 square meters. It is planned to build functional areas such as a comprehensive inspection area, quarantine treatment area, bonded processing area, and bonded logistics area. This time, new facilities will be built, including an inspection warehouse, fumigation warehouse, harmless treatment building, fence, road works, and a six-lane freight checkpoint with "three entry and three exit" channels. After preliminary preparations such as site clearing, the construction of the Nanchang Comprehensive Bonded Zone High-tech Area project has been fully launched. The inspection warehouse is the largest single building of the project, with a construction area of approximately 6,400 square meters, a steel structure main span of 105 meters, and a floor height of 9 meters. "All pile foundation works will be completed by the end of June, and main structure construction will begin, with the main structure expected to be topped out by the end of August," said a relevant person in charge of Nanchang High-tech Investment Group.
　　To revitalize state-owned assets and improve the utilization rate of factory buildings in the park, the project will make full use of the three existing completed standard factory buildings on site to undertake bonded processing business, promote the accelerated creation of a highlight project for manufacturing-oriented services in the High-tech Zone, facilitate the deep integration of manufacturing and services, and enhance the core competitiveness of industries in the High-tech Zone. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October and officially submitted for customs acceptance in December.
　　As a high-level functional platform and frontier for Nanchang's open economy, the Nanchang Comprehensive Bonded Zone is planned and constructed according to the "one zone, two parks" development pattern and has received strong support from Qingshanhu Customs and other relevant departments. Based on the High-tech Area of the Nanchang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Nanchang High-tech Zone will join hands with the Airport Area to jointly build a platform for aligning with international rules, a full-function trade services and public technology platform, a platform for transferring advanced domestic and foreign industries, and a platform for institutional and mechanism innovation, so as to provide strong support for promoting the high-standard construction of Jiangxi's inland open economy pilot zone.
　　Relying on the industrial foundation and location advantages of the High-tech Area, Nanchang High-tech Zone will give full play to the functional and policy advantages of the bonded zone, promote the extension of port services into the High-tech Zone, build a high-standard smart management information system for the comprehensive bonded zone, and vigorously develop bonded processing, bonded logistics, maintenance and testing, cross-border trade, etc., so as to better meet the bonded function needs arising from the expansion of industrial scale and industrial upgrading of enterprises in the area, continuously improve the level of trade liberalization and facilitation, and further promote industrial opening-up and innovative development.
