The Publicity Department of the CPC Weixin County Committee in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, said on July 1 that, affected by days of heavy rainfall, a landslide natural disaster occurred in Heibei Village, Luobu Town, in the county that morning, causing a rural house to collapse and resulting in 3 deaths and 2 injuries.

　　After the disaster occurred, Weixin County organized rescue forces at the first opportunity to rush to the scene for rescue. At present, on-site rescue work has been fully completed, and the injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment and are not in life-threatening danger.

　　Weixin County is located in the northeastern corner of Yunnan Province, at the junction of the three provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan, and has long been known as the place where "a rooster's crow is heard in three provinces."
