Once completed, it can effectively guarantee domestic water for 500,000 people in the Jiuquan urban area and at the same time solve agricultural irrigation for more than 400,000 mu of land in 8 townships. The dam is expected to be topped out in October this year. The construction party has broken through technical difficulties, and project construction is speeding up and improving in quality.

The G566 Yanjing project is a convenient channel connecting Xiji County in Ningxia and Jingning County in Pingliang, with a total route length of 9.994 kilometers and a total investment of 156 million yuan. The Yuanbai Highway under construction starts at Yuanshanzi in Gaotai County and ends at Baizhuangzi in Sunan County. It is an important section of the G213 line and a convenient channel for the local area to Jiuquan, Xinjiang and other places. The project is a key highway project in the Ministry of Transport's "14th Five-Year Plan" highway development plan and the province's "14th Five-Year Plan" highway and waterway transportation development plan, with a budgeted total investment of 850 million yuan and a total route length of 55.365 kilometers. Now, the project has entered the final construction stage, and opening to traffic is in the countdown.
