Recently, Vice General Manager Long Jucai led a Sunward delegation to Wuhan to visit Vice General Manager Wu Weibin of China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group (MBEC). Personnel from MBEC's Equipment Department and Mechanized Construction Company, as well as from Sunward's High-end Marketing Management Center and Hubei Branch, attended the exchange symposium.

Friendly exchange between the two sides

Long Jucai introduced Sunward's development in recent years and reviewed the good cooperation history between the two sides. In particular, in super projects such as the Xihoumen Bridge on the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway and the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, the SWDM1280/800 super-large rotary drilling rigs developed by Sunward provided MBEC with highly efficient construction techniques, greatly shortening construction periods and improving construction efficiency. At the same time, the intelligent new-energy high-end equipment customized by Sunward for MBEC—the world's largest SWDM520EE electric rotary drilling rig—was successfully applied in MBEC's Hangzhou Bay Bridge project, with remarkable energy-saving results. Both leaders expressed their expectation to continue strengthening in-depth cooperation.

Wu Weibin introduced MBEC's glorious history of bridge construction and highly recognized Sunward's corporate culture and product quality. He stated that both MBEC and Sunward emphasize technological innovation and professional focus, do not blindly pursue scale, and pursue steady development. Going forward, MBEC will continue to increase investment in equipment innovation to further enhance the intelligence of construction equipment, and the two sides can further strengthen cooperation in equipment R&D, thereby contributing to intelligent construction and cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

The talks were held in a warm atmosphere, and accompanying personnel also spoke actively and freely. The two sides also looked ahead to prospects for cooperation on future major projects.
