On the morning of the 3rd, in Plant No. 1 of Zone A of the Emerging Building Materials Industrial Park, staff of **the park's resident enterprise—Jilin Province Huihua Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd.—were working at full capacity on construction. Liu Xingquan, chief engineer of Huihua Pipeline, introduced that once this nationally leading smart pipeline production base goes into production, its annual output value is expected to reach 150 million yuan, and it will become an important industrial direction for Changchun and even Northeast China to take the lead in achieving new breakthroughs in comprehensive revitalization.

As one of the strategic emerging industries vigorously developed by the state, new materials are an important support for the city's new industrialization. 　　This can be seen from the remarks of Wang Yunfeng, project chief engineer of the Emerging Building Materials Industrial Park project of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. "Take Plant No. 1 in Zone A as an example. More than 10 enterprises have contacted us before and after. This plant covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters and has a high clear height, making it particularly suitable for building materials enterprises to establish production bases," Wang Yunfeng introduced. At present, Plant No. 2 in Zone A has been selected by a new materials production enterprise and is expected to move into the park from its original site by the end of the year. Plant No. 3 has also been fully discussed with a new energy enterprise, which means all plants in Zone A have "found their owners."
　　Why are enterprises reserving space early even before the park is completed?
　　It is noted that the Emerging Building Materials Industrial Park covers a land area of 313,800 square meters, with a planned total investment of 1.032 billion yuan and a total construction area of about 187,900 square meters. It is designed and built to include industrial plants as well as warehouses, a testing center, a comprehensive building, dormitories, a dining center, and supporting buildings for the park. The project is divided into two zones, A and B. At present, Zone A, where Huihua Pipeline is located, has basically completed construction and is about to be put into use. Zone B has completed pile foundation construction for all buildings and plans to complete the main works in October this year. The entire park is expected to be officially put into use in early next year.

For Huihua Pipeline, which is continuously investing in R&D and developing new products, this is the necessary path to enter a new track of high-quality development.
　　"We are a comprehensive professional production enterprise with multiple domestically leading patented technologies such as seamless integrated insulated pipeline networks, integrating R&D, production, sales, and service. Our original production capacity is far from meeting market demand, and there is an urgent need to build a new production base," Liu Xingquan introduced. With such urgent needs, the enterprise inspected multiple parks in Changchun and ultimately settled in the Emerging Building Materials Industrial Park. To help the enterprise achieve its goal of going into production in the second quarter of this year, more than a dozen functional departments in Erdao District formed the "Huihua Erdao Working Group," which quickly helped the enterprise solve multiple problems including plant renovation, power capacity expansion, additional overhead cranes, and early completion acceptance. "Once the base goes into production, it will achieve an annual output of more than 40,000 tons of high-density polyethylene outer protective pipes, more than 2,000 kilometers of insulated pipelines, more than 20,000 insulated pipe fittings, and more than 30,000 heat-shrinkable sleeves, making new contributions to energy conservation and emission reduction in urban construction and to the warmth of thousands of households," Liu Xingquan said. In his view, only by taking scientific and technological innovation as the lead and allowing new quality productive forces and new industrialization to complement each other can major industrial returns be leveraged and urban economic development be supported.
