According to statistics, the floods and geological disasters that began on the 22nd have affected 79.8 thousand hectares (1.197 million mu) of crops in Jiangxi, with 2.8 thousand hectares (42,000 mu) completely destroyed; 31 rooms in 11 households collapsed, 57 rooms in 25 households were severely damaged, and 86 rooms in 61 households were generally damaged. The direct economic loss stands at 670 million yuan, and the disaster situation is still being further verified through statistics.

As of 16:00 on June 27, a total of 20 river stations across Jiangxi exceeded the warning level, including the Xiushui Yongxiu Station and Wucheng (Xiushui) Station on the Xiu River; the Shizhenjie Station and Hushan Station on the Le'an River; the Songhujie Station, Gao'an Station, and Shanggao Station on the Jinjiang River, a tributary of the Ganjiang River; the Luohu Station and Beixia Station on the Yuan River; and the Xingzi Station. It is understood that in response to the current sustained heavy rainfall, floods, and geological disasters, localities across Jiangxi have acted promptly upon the "flood" call, actively carrying out monitoring and forecasting, and building a safety "embankment" for the flood season.

In Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, as of 19:20 on the 27th, the water level of the Songhu section of the Jinjiang River in Xinjian District of Nanchang had reached 29.23 meters, exceeding the historical extreme of 28.91 meters set in 1993. Once the water level of this river section exceeds 30 meters, large-scale evacuations will be organized in Songhu Town and several other townships in Xinjian District.

It is understood that to ensure a safe flood season, the "Hongcheng Red" emergency teams of Xinjian District in Nanchang responded quickly. More than 12,000 people from 4 district-level brigades, 15 township-level squadrons, and 248 village (community) detachments have rushed to the front line of flood control and fighting, demonstrating their sense of responsibility.

How long will the rain in Jiangxi last? The Jiangxi Provincial Meteorological Observatory forecasts that on the 27th, the main rain belt will be located from northern Jiangnan to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with Jiangxi on the southern edge of the rain belt and precipitation somewhat weakened, but local areas in northern Jiangxi will still see torrential to heavy torrential rain. On the 28th, the rain belt will continue to move northward, and Jiangxi will see a brief interval in precipitation. From the 29th to July 2, the subtropical high will retreat eastward and southward, and northern Jiangxi will experience another precipitation process. On July 3, the province will come under the control of the subtropical high, and this concentrated precipitation period will basically end.
