On June 25, Saudi Global Ports (SGP), a joint venture of PSA International (PSA), and Sany Marine held a signing ceremony for 80 electric container trucks. According to the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), this is currently the largest single order for electric container trucks in the world.

Mr. Rayan AlBakri, Deputy Minister of the Saudi Ministry of Transport, Edward Tah, CEO of SGP, Fu Weizhong, Chairman of Sany Marine, and Tang Weibin, General Manager of the Overseas Marketing Company, attended the signing ceremony.

SGP is a joint venture of PSA, PIF, and Al blagha Group. This cooperation will help accelerate the low-carbon development and modernized operations of PSA's ports, helping them become efficient, flexible, and sustainable logistics hubs. In the long run, the contribution of Sany Marine's electric container trucks to addressing climate change is also consistent with the sustainable development goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

It is understood that since 2013, SGP and Sany Marine have cooperated for 12 years, and approximately 50 mobile port equipment units and 6 RTGs have been delivered to date.
