In the morning, guests braved the scorching sun to visit the construction site of the bamboo industry processing construction project in Chongyi County, Ganzhou City. They carefully observed the entire operation process of the large-scale working equipment "track-following impact hole-forming stone-breaking compaction pile equipment" and listened to detailed explanations (process, design, and construction) from on-site technical personnel. The equipment has functions such as compacting when encountering soil and breaking stone when encountering rock, and is particularly outstanding in treating complex high-fill areas containing dumped rock and boulders. Through the scale marks on the hammer body, it can be determined whether the effective treatment depth meets the design depth requirements without measurement or calculation, thereby reducing measurement steps and eliminating the "common quality problem" of treatment depth and monitoring and inspection being difficult to achieve.

These demonstrations not only highlighted the power of scientific and technological innovation, but also provided participants with an opportunity to intuitively experience the charm of technology. Through on-site observation, participants gained a clearer understanding of the advanced nature and broad application prospects of this construction technology, as well as the **dynamics and trends of its development.

In the afternoon, experts and scholars from the industry gathered together to conduct in-depth analysis and discussion on issues related to high-strength composite foundations and foundation treatment in karst areas. In his report "Analysis of Quality Accidents and Causes in Foundation Engineering," Dr. Li Xiangyu proposed an analysis of the causes of quality accidents in this industry at home and abroad and solutions to the problems.

xmyeditor_5.jpeg

The report "Design Methods for Solving Karst Foundation Problems by Structural Spanning," shared by Chairman Xu Qiuhua, pointed out that there is no so-called "expert standard model" in structural design. When dealing with highly difficult karst foundation design, designers can only adapt to local conditions and analyze and compare multiple feasible schemes to select the relatively most suitable foundation form. Safety, reliability, and economic rationality (cost-effectiveness advantage) are the fundamental criteria for foundation selection.

Dr. Li Yonghua's presentation on "Detection and Principle Analysis of the Reinforcement Effect of Track-Following Column-Hammer High-Strength Compaction Piles in High-Fill Engineering" used software simulation calculations and comparisons with on-site test results to show that the settlement difference between ordinary dynamic compaction and fixed-track hammer deep dynamic compaction is more obvious, reflecting the technical effect of deep dynamic compaction. After comparison, it was found that the **maximum dynamic stress of the hammer in ordinary dynamic compaction differs greatly from that of the two types of hammers in deep dynamic compaction, reflecting the high kinetic energy characteristics of deep dynamic compaction.

Subsequently, Fu Yuying, Deputy Chief Engineer of Jiangxi Jiye Technology Group Co., Ltd., presented "Selection and Price Comparison of Foundation Treatment Schemes for the Chongyi County Cut-Mountain and Fill-Ravine Project and the Zhangzhou Port Rock-Dumping Reclamation Project," and General Manager Liu Bin shared "Introduction to the Application of the Construction Technology of Track-Following Column-Hammer Stone-Breaking Compaction Piles."

As a new type of foundation treatment process, the track-following column hammer, compared with other dynamic consolidation methods, has a small hammer base area and obtains a large equivalent dynamic pressure (now up to 18000 kJ/㎡). Under the same hammer weight and drop distance, the compaction energy per unit area and the equivalent dynamic pressure are much greater than those of ordinary dynamic compaction and the combined hammer method. The self-formed hammer body bottoming and tamping pit depth are expected to break world records (now reaching 20 m deep, with effective treatment and replacement depth reaching 30 m). At the same time, this process has advantages such as fast construction speed, high efficiency ratio, material savings, and environmental protection. Everyone agreed that the track-following column hammer technology, as a new foundation treatment and pile foundation construction method, has achieved a generational upgrade and revolutionary breakthrough in the field of foundation treatment.

Dai Weiping, Director of the Technical Department, shared "Application Analysis of Dual Compaction Consolidation Construction Technology in Karst Foundation Treatment," and Zhang Donghai, Chief Engineer of the Production Center, shared "Analysis of the Application Effect of Enlarged-Diameter and Enlarged-Base (Comprehensive Action) Piles in Karst Cave Areas."

Combining their own experience and insights, they delivered excellent speeches to the participants. These speeches focused on construction practice, technical control, and process management at the site, and not only covered introductions to the **achievements of technological innovation, but also involved analysis of innovation development and application prospects as well as cost-effectiveness (material savings, carbon reduction, waste rock utilization, etc.). By listening to the speeches of experts and engineers, participants gained a deeper understanding of the development trends of innovative technologies in the industry and methods for high-strength composite foundation treatment, and also gained new ideas for future geotechnical engineering process research, design, and construction work.

In the exchange salon discussion session, co-chaired by Chairman Xu Qiuhua and Party Secretary Luo Sihai, Li Xiangyu, Li Yonghua, Huang Zhiguang, and Liu Xiangang answered questions on site for the participants. Everyone actively shared their own experience and insights and conducted in-depth discussions. This relaxed and pleasant exchange atmosphere not only facilitated academic discussion, but also provided an excellent communication opportunity for participants to discuss face to face with experts from various links of the national and industry frontier of industry-university-research-application.

xmyeditor_12.jpeg

This grand event not only provided participants with a technical exchange platform, but more importantly, it promoted exchange and cooperation within the industry and drove the innovation and development of the industry. In this era full of opportunities and challenges, only by continuously learning and improving, and continuously strengthening innovation capacity and the transformation and application of industry-university-research-application achievements, can one remain invincible. Through this grand event, we believe that colleagues in the industry will move forward hand in hand, turn the innovative geotechnical technologies developed by local enterprises into considerable "new quality productive forces," and jointly write a new chapter for the future of the industry.
