On June 21, 2024, the pouring of the last base slab of the structure at Zhongyangmen Station on Line 9 was completed, marking the completion of the bottom sealing of the station's main structure and taking the stability of the foundation pit to a new level.

Zhongyangmen Station is located at the intersection of Jianning Road and Jinmao Avenue, laid out east-west along Jianning Road. It is an underground three-level island-platform station with a double-column, three-span box-frame structure. The surrounding environment of the station is complex, with heavy traffic flow, and the foundation pit is adjacent to traffic roads. To ensure the safe excavation of the foundation pit, Nanjing Metro strictly implemented acceptance procedures and strictly controlled on-site safety and quality as well as standardized civilized construction; strictly implemented all plans and strengthened quality monitoring; planned ahead, formed flow-line construction through rational organization of processes, went all out to accelerate the construction progress of the bottom sealing of the station's main structure, and ultimately completed the base slab sealing work successfully on schedule.
