The "Three-North" Project Construction and Protection Center of Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia, was recently established. The Institutional Establishment Committee of the Bayannur Municipal Party Committee issued an approval document, specifying the center's main responsibilities and tasks, staffing, leadership positions, and other matters.
The Bayannur City "Three-North" Project Construction and Protection Center will implement the laws, regulations, and policy measures concerning "Three-North" project construction, participate in drafting the city's "Three-North" project implementation plans and annual plans, undertake auxiliary work such as project implementation, technical guidance, and scheduling and statistics, assist in monitoring the progress of "Three-North" projects and reviewing the annual project operation designs of banners and counties, organize project evaluation, acceptance, and benefit assessment, promote and apply landmark achievements and new measures in desertification prevention and control, organize efforts to explore and implement diverse business models, guide social capital and farmers and herdsmen to participate in desertification prevention and control, and provide basic safeguards for the city's "Three-North" project construction.
