The Jiangsu Section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Green Modern Shipping Comprehensive Improvement Project (Jiangbei Section) involves four urban sections—Xuzhou, Suqian, Huai'an, and Baoying—and aims to improve navigation conditions and water transport efficiency while enhancing the ecological environment. Relying on its deep accumulation and technical practice in the field of green building materials, Jianhua Building Materials provided many professional, advanced, green, and sustainable solutions tailored to local conditions for the project, strongly promoting the development of regional water transport construction.

Integrated Solution  Improving Quality and Reducing Costs

To actively respond to the needs of modern shipping construction, relying on the technical strength of the group's R&D center and engineering technology center, we worked closely with the project construction party on the Suqian section and, together with the design unit, optimized and upgraded the traditional retaining pile structure in response to the characteristics of large support height and high seepage prevention requirements of the waterway, improved the mechanical performance of the pile body, facilitated construction, and ultimately completed the promotion and implementation of the group's first customized new retaining pile.

On the premise of ensuring project quality, modern scientific design ideas and concepts were fully utilized to provide an economical, environmentally friendly, and construction-efficient technical solution based on multi-factor comparison and selection, and the construction process did not affect navigation, effectively ensuring the project schedule.

Smart Logistics  Green Construction

During the project construction process, relying on the advantages of Jianhua Logistics' own transportation system, water and land transport modes were used to flexibly allocate transportation capacity. In strict accordance with the requirements of ecological waterway construction, the project adopted water-based pile-driving vessel construction to minimize the impact of the construction process on the water body and surrounding environment, thereby safeguarding the ecological environment of the original canal to the greatest extent and implementing the sustainable development strategy.
