From June 20 to 22, the 2024 World Intelligence Expo was jointly hosted by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government in Tianjin. Sunward Xiangyun's 5G+ Intelligent Construction System was selected as one of the "Find Intelligent Technology Innovation Emerging Cases" at the 2024 World Intelligence Expo.

This expo was guided by the Organizing Committee of the World Intelligence Expo and jointly hosted by the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee of the World Intelligence Expo, the China New Generation Artificial Intelligence Strategic Development Research Institute, the China Software Industry Association, and the Cyberspace Security Association of China. With the theme of "Intelligence for All, Empowering the Future," the event integrated exhibitions, experiences, and competitions, and set up ten major thematic exhibition areas including artificial intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and robotics, covering frontier and hotspot fields of the intelligent industry. It attracted guests from 49 countries and regions, with more than 550 exhibiting enterprises and institutions.

The release event for the "Find Intelligent Technology Innovation Outstanding Cases" of the 2024 World Intelligence Expo was held concurrently during the expo, aiming to discover and commend outstanding models in the field of intelligent technology, while encouraging intelligent technologies to integrate more deeply into various industries and driving the digital and intelligent transformation of industries. This selection focused on three major fields—"Intelligent Manufacturing," "Intelligent Connected Vehicles," and "Intelligent Cybersecurity"—and received a total of 990 domestic and international cases, drawing widespread attention from people and enterprises across all sectors of society. After review by more than 40 well-known Chinese and foreign academicians and experts in the field of intelligent technology, the Sunward Xiangyun 5G+ Intelligent Construction System project was selected into the list of emerging cases by virtue of its leading technological innovation and favorable market feedback.

The Sunward Xiangyun 5G+ Intelligent Construction System is built on the Sunward Xiangyun Industrial Internet Platform as its foundation and provides digital solutions for the construction of piling machinery and rock drilling equipment. The solution supports functions such as project management, personnel management, equipment management, benefit management, construction animation and playback, and construction quality analysis. Through technologies such as big data and AI algorithms, the system enables reference formation identification and optimized control strategies, and, combined with high-precision positioning technology, provides users with convenient operating modes of guided construction and one-click construction. It achieves all-weather, highly reliable, high-speed data acquisition and has made breakthroughs in technologies such as fleet collaboration and remote control under complex construction environments. It has now been adapted to multiple high-end equipment items such as Sunward Intelligent rotary drilling rigs, mixing pile machines, and rock drilling equipment, and has been applied in engineering projects in multiple regions including Jiangsu, Guangxi, Xinjiang, and Inner Mongolia. Customer feedback shows that, with the application of this digital management system, construction operating costs have been reduced by more than 10% in typical application scenarios, and construction quality has been greatly improved.

In recent years, Sunward Intelligent has continued to promote industrial digitalization and strengthen the deep integration of the new generation of information technology with manufacturing. The selection of this case marks that the application achievements of Sunward Xiangyun in extending around the customer value chain have been further recognized by the industry.
