Recently, accompanied by the roar of machinery and equipment on site, the pouring of the "Block 0" of pier F158 of the continuous composite girder of the Lanlugang Bridge on Section 4 of the Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line began. The project is invested in and constructed under the responsibility of Shanghai Shentie, designed by China Railway Shanghai Design Institute, and built by China Railway 11th Bureau. This marks the full-scale start of construction of the Lanlugang Bridge on the Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line, currently the longest-span ballastless-track continuous composite girder bridge of any intercity railway in China.

The Lanlugang Bridge on the Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line is located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, with a total length of 383.5 meters and a deck width of 11.5 meters. It is designed with a 200-meter main span of continuous composite girder and a 91.75-meter side span. The bridge crosses a Class II water source protection area and the Class III navigation channel Lanlugang. To meet navigation requirements, foundation work during construction was kept away from deep-water areas as far as possible to reduce construction safety risks.

The pour this time was for the "Block 0" of pier F158, the main pier of the Lanlugang Bridge, completed in two pours. The first pour was 16 meters long, 8 meters wide and 6.4 meters high. To ensure the smooth progress of the first pour, under the overall coordination and advance deployment of Shanghai Shentie, the project team carefully prepared a special construction plan, organized relevant technical personnel for discussions on multiple occasions, analyzed key safety and quality points, organized experts to review the construction plan, and made thorough arrangements regarding material supply, machinery scheduling, personnel division of labor, construction technology and emergency plans.

Before the pour, the project team strictly controlled each procedure, including bracket erection, formwork installation, rebar tying, embedded part installation and corrugated pipe installation, in response to prominent difficulties such as the large volume of girder rebar, the dense and complex arrangement of rebar and prestressed ducts, and the difficulty of vibration. During the pour, the project team strictly controlled the concrete mix ratio and pouring speed to ensure uniform and dense concrete. Key parameters such as temperature and humidity during the pour were monitored and adjusted in real time to prevent problems such as cracking and deformation of the concrete.

According to the preliminary design approval for the project, the Demonstration Zone Line has a total length of 52.4 kilometers, passes through two administrative districts, Minhang and Qingpu, and has 10 stations in total, with a maximum train operating speed of 160 kilometers per hour. Once completed, the project will form a rapid backbone transportation link connecting Shanghai's main urban area and Qingpu New City with Jiashan, Wujiang and other places. As the Shanghai section of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Jiaxing Intercity Railway, the Demonstration Zone Line is both the gateway line of the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone and an important part of Shanghai's intercity railway network.
