On June 20, the left carriageway of the Jiaoyuanwan Grand Bridge, constructed by Hunan Road & Bridge Xiangzhu Company under the Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang 3B bid section, was successfully completed and connected, making it the first grand bridge on the entire Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang Expressway to achieve through-connection, marking a key milestone victory for the project construction.

As a controlling project of the Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang Expressway, the Jiaoyuanwan Grand Bridge has strict construction standards and high technical requirements. It adopts a span arrangement of 28×40-meter T-beams, with a center chainage of K74+250 and a bridge length of 1,128.48 meters. During construction, the project team overcame numerous difficulties such as complex geological conditions and harsh weather, and in particular, in the face of the floods in June this year, the construction personnel stayed at their posts and fought bravely against the flooding; through careful planning and scientific management, the project team exercised strict control over quality and safety, effectively ensuring the orderly progress of the project.

The successful through-connection of the left carriageway this time has greatly boosted the morale of all construction personnel. In the next stage, the project department will, as always, maintain a rigorous work style, carry out construction in strict accordance with standards and specifications, and ensure the smooth through-connection of the entire bridge.
