Entering June, the land of Yanzhi is filled with vivid scenes of seizing every moment to advance construction and working with tremendous enthusiasm. New energy projects are rushing schedules and pushing progress; builders are fighting on the front lines of construction, advancing new energy project development with a spirit of "striving," a drive to "break through," and the determination to "get things done," fully accelerating both speed and quality with abundant passion.
Recently, at the site of the 250MW/1000MWh independent shared energy storage project of Shandan County Zhongboyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd., rows of "little white houses" stand neatly arranged as workers busily install and commission energy storage equipment.
Zuo Changjiang, Technical Center Director of Sichuan Weili De Energy Co., Ltd., said: "The project has now entered the final installation and commissioning stage and will be connected to the grid before June 30."
The independent shared energy storage project of Shandan County Zhongboyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is planned with a capacity of 250MW/1000MWh, built in two phases. The first-phase energy storage project involves a total investment of approximately 630 million yuan; the energy storage system uses all-vanadium flow batteries and consists of 16 sets of 3MW/12MWh energy storage subsystems and 1 set of 2MW/8MWh energy storage subsystem. After the project is completed and connected to the grid, the supporting energy storage devices of new energy projects at the Dongle Beitan million-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation base can be built in a centralized manner and managed uniformly. Through unified grid dispatch, dynamic aggregation, and flexible regulation, it will help balance grid peaks and valleys, effectively enhance the regional capacity and level of new energy consumption, and explore new pathways for energy storage technology to deeply participate in grid regulation.
In a race of a hundred boats, those who row hardest lead. At the construction site of the Phase II project of the Zhangye LNG Reserve Center, machines roar, crowds bustle, and vehicles shuttle back and forth as workers advance the project with a sense of urgency and every second counting, striving for rapid construction and early operation.
"At present, on-site construction mainly focuses on civil engineering, individual unit works, and foundation construction. In the next stage, the main construction work will be equipment installation and pipeline installation, and the project construction task is expected to be completed by the end of this year," said Liu Libin, Deputy General Manager of Zhangfa Group Energy Company and Project Chief Engineer.
It is understood that the Phase II project of the Zhangye LNG Reserve Center involves a total investment of 520 million yuan. After completion, it will produce 240,000 tons of liquefied natural gas annually, with annual sales revenue reaching 850 million yuan. The combined Phase I and Phase II projects will have a daily natural gas processing capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters and can store 36 million cubic meters of natural gas, making it Gansu's largest natural gas reserve base, the main natural gas emergency reserve depot in the Hexi region, and an important strategic energy security base.
Projects are the "ballast stone" of economic development. This year, Shandan County continues to uphold the concept of "projects first," seizes the opportunity of building the Hexi Corridor clean energy base, accelerates the advancement of 10 new energy projects including the third batch of the 14th Five-Year Plan's 200,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project at Dongle Beitan and the Zhongboyuan 250MW/1000MWh independent shared energy storage project, plans to build a second 330-kilovolt substation, and strives to create a "million-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation base." At present, both the installed capacity and power generation of new energy in Shandan County are showing a steady upward trend, powerfully promoting green and low-carbon development and achieving the coordinated unity of economic, social, and ecological benefits.
