　　On June 12, at the construction site of the Aileqiguole Gully improvement project in Xidagou Town, the contractor was carrying out construction on the first section of the flood diversion channel. At present, the project's flood diversion channel and flood control dam have been completed, and 80% of all works have been finished. The project will be fully completed by the end of June, with flood control capacity for a once-in-10-year flood. After completion, the project will effectively raise the river channel's flood control standard, improve the flood conveyance capacity of the mountain flood gully, enhance the region's ability to defend against mountain flood disasters, and protect residents of five villages and 8,000 mu of farmland in Xidagou Town from flood threats.
