On June 18, according to a notice on the website of the Ministry of Emergency Management, in order to guide and promote all regions to further improve the level of risk control and the quality of hidden danger identification and rectification in key industrial and trade sectors, the Ministry of Emergency Management recently launched expert guidance services in key cities for steel, aluminum processing (deep well casting), and dust explosion-related operations, to be carried out from June to October 2024.

This expert guidance service selected 20 key cities where steel, aluminum processing (deep well casting), and dust explosion-related enterprises are concentrated, including Linfen City in Shanxi Province, adhering to a service-oriented positioning and using methods such as on-site diagnosis, exchange and discussion, and commentary and feedback to help relevant enterprises, socialized service agencies, and regulatory departments learn and make good use of the criteria for determining major accident hazards. By using key points to drive broader areas and providing demonstration and guidance, it aims to lead provincial emergency management departments in deepening the campaign to dynamically eliminate major accident hazards, accelerate the construction and application of risk monitoring and early warning systems, promote the implementation of all tasks in the tough battle for workplace safety, and effectively improve the capacity and level of industrial and trade safety supervision.

At present, the expert guidance service teams have gone to Yunnan, Shanxi, Henan, and other places to carry out work.
