On March 22-23, the China Geothermal Industry Multi-Process Air Drilling New Technology and New Equipment Observation and Exchange Conference was held at XCMG Foundation's intelligent manufacturing base, attracting more than 400 participants including relevant leaders, customers, experts from research institutes, and news media from geothermal, petroleum, coalfield, and geological exploration systems across the country. Leaders attending included Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery and Secretary of the Party Committee, and Song Xuefeng, President of China University of Mining and Technology.

The conference aimed to promote the rapid popularization of multi-process air drilling new technology in China's geothermal industry, to promote automated, intelligent, and minimally-manned new drilling equipment, to share valuable technical experience in the industry, and to showcase China's drilling equipment ** research and development achievements.

Wang Jiyang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Guo Xusheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered video addresses to the conference, congratulating its convening and expressing strong support for the research, development, and application of air drilling technology.

Yang Dongsheng stated that since entering the energy drilling and extraction field in 2013, XCMG has focused on research into construction equipment for "large diameter, deep wells, and complex strata," launching a series of products including crawler-type deep well drilling rigs, truck-mounted deep well drilling rigs, and modular drilling rigs with operating depths from 300m to 7000m, maintaining an industry-leading position in segmented fields such as coalbed methane extraction and coal mine water hazard control. XCMG Foundation's new thousand-mu intelligent manufacturing base is not only the industry's most advanced intelligent manufacturing factory but also a benchmark "green factory."

Next, XCMG will actively participate in building the geothermal industry chain and ecosystem, opening up channels from basic research to technology development, achievement transfer, and industrialization, and providing global users with complete-set solutions for drilling equipment that are "safe, efficient, green, and energy-saving"!

At the conference, industry experts and scholars shared and exchanged views on the ** research results, application promotion, and construction practices of a series of technologies and equipment, and provided guidance and discussion on the development of the geothermal industry and the selection of extraction equipment.
