On June 13, the Dengjiashan Tunnel of the Nanchang-Jiujiang High-Speed Railway was successfully holed through, ensuring the smooth flow of the railway's girder-erection passage and creating favorable conditions for accelerating subsequent construction progress.

The Dengjiashan Tunnel of the Nanchang-Jiujiang High-Speed Railway is located in Hongfeng Village, Minshan Township, Chaisang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a single-tube, double-track high-speed railway tunnel excavated from both the entrance and exit. The main adverse geological phenomenon in the tunnel is bedding-parallel sliding, with rock strata occurring nearly horizontally, poor surrounding rock conditions, and relatively high construction safety risks.

It is reported that the Dengjiashan Tunnel is a key node on the girder-erection route and faces great schedule pressure. The construction unit adopted various techniques and equipment, including the three-bench (temporary invert) method and 3D laser scanning technology, to ensure the smooth holing-through of the tunnel.

After the Nanchang-Jiujiang High-Speed Railway is completed and opened to traffic, it will be of great significance for Jiangxi Province in building an integrated Nanchang-Jiujiang comprehensive transportation system, further connecting with and integrating into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, supporting the implementation of the Yangtze River Economic Belt development strategy, and promoting high-quality economic and social development along the route.
