College Mission

Foundation College takes "great virtue and strong skills, professionalism and earnest practice, integrity and innovation, and the pursuit of excellence" as its founding purpose, and "cultivating talent, developing experts, serving the industry, and benefiting society" as its mission. It practices the responsibility of "educating talent for the Party and the country" and aims to develop a new generation of leaders in the foundation engineering industry.

Foundation College closely follows the development needs of the construction industry and is committed to cultivating professional interdisciplinary skilled talent. To meet the challenges of industrial optimization and upgrading and technological progress, the Advanced Flagship Training Program specially offers courses including foundation engineering case studies, interpretation of standards and codes, innovative technologies, digital geotechnics and green low-carbon geotechnics, industry frontiers and management experience of leading enterprises, on-site engineering learning, and construction industry chain expansion. The courses are taught personally by high-level experts such as academicians and masters. The program lasts two years and comprises 384 class hours of systematic courses. Classes are held for two days on one weekend each month, and through multiple teaching modes such as classroom instruction, engineering observation, project diagnosis, resource matching, student mutual visits, and industry seminars, the program provides students with systematic professional geotechnical engineering training and promotes in-depth exchanges and resource connections with experts and scholars.
