　　At the construction site of the Yueyang ethylene refining and chemical integration project—the largest single industrial project in Hunan Province by investment scale—70% of the land leveling task has been completed. Since the beginning of this year, the province's top ten industrial projects have been accelerated, with investment of 15.5 billion yuan completed from January to May, accounting for 47.5% of the annual plan, ahead of schedule. The Yueyang ethylene refining and chemical integration project has completed 51.7% of its annual planned investment, and the overall design of the refining supporting renovation project has been approved; the second hot-end auxiliary equipment of the ** group of the Shaohong substrate glass project has entered installation; the first phase of the Lianyuan Steel cold-rolled silicon steel project has been completed, with 62.2% of the annual planned investment completed; and the equipment installation in various workshops of the GAC Aion new energy vehicle project has entered the commissioning stage.

In the Hunan sections of the Chongqing-Changsha-Xiamen and Hohhot-Nanning high-speed railway projects, important progress has been made on the Changsha-Ganzhou high-speed railway, the Shaoyang-Yongzhou high-speed railway, and the Yichang-Changde high-speed railway; the Changsha airport expansion and renovation project is being pushed forward at full speed, with main construction under way on Terminal 3 and other facilities; the new power system project has completed 55.7% of its annual planned investment, and sub-projects such as the 220-500 kV power transmission and transformation project are progressing steadily. In terms of water conservancy hubs, the Quanmutang reservoir hub project has entered the final stage, with four generating units already connected to the grid for power generation; the first phase of the key polder dike reinforcement in the Dongting Lake area, the Jiaohua reservoir, and the Daxingzhai reservoir are being accelerated.

From January to May, a total of 194.55 billion yuan of investment was completed, accounting for 41.3% of the annual plan.
