The "Baishan Songshui · Auspicious Jilin" Jilin Province Culture and Tourism Thematic Promotion Conference was held in Changbai Mountain on the 14th. At the conference, the "Jilin Province Border Open Tourism Corridor Tourism Development Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), organized and compiled by the Jilin Province Department of Culture and Tourism, was released in video form.

　　Jilin Province is located in the central part of Northeast China and possesses a unique border geographic advantage. The scope of the "Plan" released this time includes the Changbai Mountain Protection and Development Zone along National Highway G331, Tonghua City, Baishan City, and 10 border counties (cities, districts) under the jurisdiction of Yanbian Prefecture, including Ji'an City, Hunjiang District, Linjiang City, Changbai County, Fusong County, Antu County, Helong City, Longjing City, Tumen City, and Hunchun City.

　　The full text of the "Plan" covers main contents such as embarking on a new journey of corridor development, building the Border No. 1 Scenic Byway, creating a world-class tourism corridor, boosting new development in the corridor region, shaping a new brand image for the corridor, and improving new implementation safeguards.

　　The "Plan" takes overall planning, joint implementation, transportation-tourism integration, and internal connectivity with external links as its key points, closely centering on the overall goal of building the "National Border No. 1 Scenic Byway" and the "*** Tourism Corridor," establishing the brand image of "Changbai Secret Realm · Jilin Route 331," and innovatively proposing the "tourism corridor growth model with transportation as the vein," reshaping the overall spatial pattern of the corridor as "one byway and one corridor."

　　Specifically, with the 1,520-kilometer main road and extension lines of the Jilin section of National Highway G331 as the main transportation carrier, it aims to enhance the quality of tourism services along the corridor and build the "National Border No. 1 Scenic Byway"; using the axis to drive the area, the "one byway" radiates and drives "1+10" development, forming a "132N" development pattern with Changbai Mountain as the one leading dragon head, Yanji, Hunchun, and Ji'an as three new growth poles, the Yalu River and Tumen River as two wings, and multiple premium tourism products as support, strengthening linkage among areas along the route, jointly building the *** Tourism Corridor, and turning the corridor into a demonstration of China's transportation-tourism integration, a demonstration of China's border tourism, and a demonstration of self-driving tourism services.
