Recently, the construction site of Naftun Tunnel of the Huangtong-Baise Railway Project (hereinafter referred to as the Huang-Bai Railway) in Lingyun County, Baise City, presented a busy scene. With the comprehensive advancement of the project, more than 50 professional construction workers and over 100 local residents are participating in the construction in an intense and orderly manner.

Naftun Tunnel, as the first extra-large tunnel to start construction in the Guangxi section of the Huang-Bai Railway, has a total length of 12 kilometers and is one of the seven extra-large tunnels exceeding 10 kilometers along the entire line. The commencement of its construction marks that the tunnel engineering of the Guangxi section of the Huang-Bai Railway has fully entered the construction stage.

As the Huang-Bai Railway is gradually completed and opened to traffic, it will become an important corridor connecting the Southwest region with the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, bringing more convenient transportation conditions and broader development space to the areas along the line. At the same time, it will also promote the economic and social development of Lingyun County and its surrounding areas, helping local residents move toward a better life.
