Recently, the naming plans for the Phase I stations and depots of Hefei Rail Transit Lines 7 and 8 were officially approved.

To ensure the practicality and directional clarity of rail transit station names, the naming plans for the Phase I stations and depots of Lines 7 and 8 take into account factors such as Hefei's historical and cultural connotations, the geographical environment characteristics along the routes, and the city's overall planning, as detailed below:

The Phase I stations of Hefei Rail Transit Line 7, from west to southeast, are: Feicui Park, Huiyuan, Mingzhu Square, Tiandu Road, South Yanyan Lake North, No. 168 Middle School, Hefei University, South Yanyan Lake South, Yaosu Grand Market, Binhu Hospital, Songshan Road, Provincial Culture and Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and Hefei No. 4 Middle School.

The Phase I stations of Hefei Rail Transit Line 8, from south to north, are: Xinglin, Luyang Economic Development Zone, Hetang Road, Shuangfeng, Jinmei Road, Meichong Lake, Beicheng Century City, Shuangdun, Provincial Hospital North District, and Beicheng High-Speed Railway Station. The vehicle depot is named Beicheng Vehicle Depot.

Currently, the Phase I construction of Lines 7 and 8 is at a critical stage, with efforts being made to achieve initial operation as soon as possible.
