June 11 - According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, the Shandong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Supervisory Commission recently publicly reported three typical cases of corruption in the field of engineering construction bidding and tendering, as follows:

　　1. The case of Li Hao, former member of the Party Working Committee and former deputy director of the Management Committee of Jinan High-tech Zone, and former secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Jinan High-tech Holding Group Co., Ltd., for serious violations of discipline and law.From 2011 to 2021, while serving as a member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Jinan High-tech Zone, and as secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Jinan High-tech Holding Group Co., Ltd., Li Hao accepted requests from Ji, the actual controller of four companies including a Jinan trading company and a Shandong materials company. By disclosing to Ji the scoring criteria for multiple procurement projects of Jinan High-tech Holding Group Co., Ltd. and instructing Ji to engage in bid rigging and collusive bidding, he helped Ji's companies successfully win bids for multiple projects. He successively accepted cash, real estate and other property sent by Ji on behalf of the companies, totaling 9.8946 million yuan. Li Hao also had other serious problems of violating discipline and law. In September 2022, he was expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office; in January 2023, he was sentenced to twelve years in prison and fined for the crime of accepting bribes.

　　2. The case of Wan Shuangbo, former chief of the All-in-One Service Section of the Pingdu Municipal Government Services and Public Resources Trading Center, for serious violations of discipline and law.From 2016 to 2019, while serving as chief of the All-in-One Service Section of the Pingdu Municipal Government Services and Public Resources Trading Center, Wan Shuangbo accepted requests from Song and others. Taking advantage of his position in charge of organizing bidding and tendering for engineering construction projects and handling complaints and reports, during the bidding and tendering of transportation construction, farmland water conservancy and other projects, he helped the requesters or bidders cooperating with them win bids for multiple projects by disclosing relevant information about bidding enterprises to Song and others in advance and coordinating on-site evaluation experts to conduct irregular bid evaluations. He successively accepted a total of 1.79 million yuan in cash from Song and others. Wan Shuangbo also had other serious problems of violating discipline and law. In May 2023, he was expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office; in September of the same year, he was sentenced to four years in prison and fined for the crime of accepting bribes.

The case of Li Yanhe, former deputy director of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the Yangxin County CPPCC, for serious violations of discipline and law.From 2019 to 2022, while serving as secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of the Yangxin County Civil Affairs Bureau, and secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of the Yangxin County Urban and Rural Water Affairs Bureau, Li Yanhe accepted requests from individuals and companies including Xu, head of the Yangxin branch of a construction group, and Wang, project manager of a Shandong engineering management company. By personally deciding that the requesters would designate bidding agencies, openly inviting bids while secretly fixing the outcome, or strongly recommending enterprises and units to bidding agencies, he helped the requesters and companies win bids, and successively accepted property from the requesters totaling 4.56 million yuan. Li Yanhe also had other serious problems of violating discipline and law. In May 2023, he was expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office; in September of the same year, he was sentenced to nine years and three months in prison and fined for the crime of accepting bribes.
