On June 11, the Third "Belt and Road" Construction Academic Seminar was held, at which two research reports were released.

"The Belt and Road in the Next Decade: Assessment and Outlook" reviews the changes and impacts that Belt and Road cooperation has brought to China and the world since 2013, and looks ahead to the golden decade of the Belt and Road and an even brighter longer-term prospect. The report holds that the Belt and Road is a global cooperation vision that carries both strategic significance for the world and a clear operational path; for the world, the Belt and Road has become synonymous with global development.

"Reforming the Global Debt Restructuring Framework and Improving the Long-Term Belt and Road Debt Mechanism" points out that there should be an objective understanding of the sovereign debt risks of the Belt and Road: about 80% of Belt and Road sovereign lending goes to middle-income countries, and the risk of outstanding loans is controllable. Since 2020, Belt and Road investment areas have become greener, more technology-oriented, more diversified and more market-based. In the future, opportunities for financing connectivity far outweigh the risks.

More than 200 experts and scholars from 68 universities, enterprises and research institutions at home and abroad attended the meeting.
