On June 5, the pipe jacking for Passage No. 1 at Sixin South Road Station of the company's Wuhan Metro Line 12 project was successfully launched, marking the project's entry into a new construction phase.

The main structure of Sixin South Road Station is located at the intersection of Sixin South Road and Jiangcheng Avenue, arranged along the roadside, with a total of 7 entrance/exit passages. Passages No. I, II, and III pass beneath the underground vehicular tunnel section of Sixin South Road, all constructed using the pipe jacking method. The rectangular pipe jacking for Passage No. I at Sixin South Road Station has an outer profile dimension of 4.9 m × 6.9 m, a wall thickness of 0.45 m, a pipe jacking passage length of 40.5 m, and a cover depth of approximately 4.9 m.

To ensure a smooth launch, the project team conducted advance research and planning with meticulous deployment, and formulated a detailed pipe jacking construction work plan based on actual site conditions, carrying out a comprehensive analysis of all steps, precautions, and emergency measures during construction to ensure that every construction stage is safe and controllable.

Next, the project will further strengthen full-process control of pipe jacking construction, solidly carry out analysis of ground monitoring data, and adjust jacking parameters in a timely manner to ensure the safe and smooth reception of the pipe jacking.
