On June 7, the Xiangtan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology organized more than 37 local enterprises and institutions to visit Sunward Intelligent Equipment for an on-site observation and exchange activity on intelligent manufacturing. The main participating units included more than 50 heads of enterprises in fields such as new energy vehicles and supporting components, advanced energy materials and batteries, advanced steel materials, and advanced manufacturing. Zhu Jianxin, Deputy General Manager of Sunward, accompanied the delegation during the visit and exchange.

First, everyone came to the exhibition hall on the first floor of the headquarters and learned in detail about Sunward's entrepreneurial journey.

Subsequently, following the route of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Sunward, they arrived at the excavator assembly workshop. The relevant person in charge introduced Sunward's advanced manufacturing, high-end products, intelligent warehousing, and other aspects. Everyone was full of praise for Sunward's high-end products, the achievements of its intelligent transformation, and its accomplishments in the application of 5G industrial internet.

Next, everyone came to Sunward's "5G Beyond-Line-of-Sight Remote Control" exhibition area. There, leaders of various enterprises and institutions personally experienced the highly immersive 5G remote-control simulation training platform based on digital twin technology, the 5G emergency takeover system for unmanned mining trucks, the 5G remote-control cabin for intelligent drilling rigs, and other related remote-control products. They learned about the various functions in detail and highly praised Sunward's pioneering innovation.

The significance of the highly immersive remote-control system is mainly to move operators from dangerous and harsh working environments to safe and comfortable ones; when unmanned engineering equipment encounters an emergency, manual remote takeover avoids safety accidents. The remote-control system is also the foundation for the intelligent and unmanned development of engineering equipment, and it has already been applied in batches to products such as excavators, rock drilling equipment, and unmanned mining trucks.

During the exchange session in the conference room, Zhu Jianxin, Deputy General Manager of Sunward, extended a warm welcome to the leaders of the Xiangtan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the leaders of various enterprises and institutions.
