The reporter learned from the Civil Affairs Bureau of Xining City, Qinghai Province that in recent years, Xining City has invested a cumulative total of 1.285 billion yuan and built a total of 764 elderly care service facilities of various types, including 25 elderly care institutions, 14 community home-based online service projects, 138 community day care centers, 439 rural elderly homes, and 148 happiness canteens. County- and district-level elderly care service demonstration bases, urban subdistrict comprehensive elderly care service centers, and community elderly care service facilities have achieved full coverage, creating a balanced "15-minute elderly care service circle" covering urban areas.

In addition, Xining City has established an elderly care service list and resource database, providing services according to "tiered and categorized" precise needs to meet the diverse needs of the elderly; extended 24-hour services to provide emergency medical and medicine delivery services for the elderly; and built a municipal-level smart civil affairs information platform, using methods such as "mobile phone processing and handheld processing" to promptly push online and offline services to the elderly, promoting effective matching of supply and demand for community home-based elderly care services and precise and efficient management.
