In response to the needs of the construction and development of Lianyungang Port, Jiangsu Province has intensified its efforts in building the port's infrastructure. Shanghai Zhenzhong Pile Machinery is very honored to participate in the pile foundation construction project for the diversion dike of the Lianyungang Nuclear Power Plant.

Compared with conventional steel pipe pile construction, the pipe pile cofferdam construction for the diversion dike of this nuclear power plant has its own characteristics. First, the geology of the diversion dike pile foundation is stratified, with silt soil in the upper layer and silty clay with a high standard penetration test blow count in the lower layer, which is extremely hard soil. Second, to increase the bearing capacity of the pile foundation, cross-shaped partition plates were welded inside the bottom of the pipe piles. When the pipe piles enter the silty clay layer, soil plugging is very likely to occur, which greatly increases the end resistance and substantially increases the difficulty of pile driving.

Based on the specific characteristics of this project, Shanghai Zhenzhong, combining the on-site geological borehole columnar sections and through calculations simulating pile driving conditions, ultimately recommended to the user the EP320 resonance-free vibratory pile hammer with a large eccentric moment and large vibration impulse.

Compared with traditional vibratory pile hammers, the EP series resonance-free variable-frequency variable-moment vibratory pile hammers demonstrate tremendous advantages:

1. Reduced startup energy consumption. Achieving "zero" startup and "zero" shutdown greatly reduces the start-stop load and solves the problem that traditional vibratory hammers, which start with an eccentric moment, require a large-capacity power supply.

2. Avoiding resonance hazards. The stepless adjustable eccentric moment technology enables the machine to start and stop smoothly and freely, preventing the damage and impact of strong mechanical resonance and noise on the equipment itself and surrounding facilities during this process.

3. Adaptability to different soil layers. During machine operation, according to the characteristics of different soils, the eccentric moment is adjusted to meet the amplitude requirements of different soil layers, thereby achieving ideal pile driving and extraction efficiency.

4. Strong ability to overcome end resistance. The large vibration impulse generated by a reasonable large eccentric moment and vibration frequency gives the equipment a strong ability to overcome end resistance, greatly improving the efficiency of pipe piles penetrating hard clay layers and dense sand layers;‍

The recommended EP320 resonance-free variable-frequency variable-moment vibratory pile hammer, with its efficient, environmentally friendly, safe, and intelligent technical characteristics during construction, received strong recognition and praise from the construction party.

Shanghai Zhenzhong is proud to contribute its share and make its effort to the smooth progress of this project, to the economic and social development and construction of Lianyungang, to the development of the green energy industry, and to continuously renewing the city's development foundation!
