By 2025, the scale of Jiangsu's construction machinery industry is expected to reach approximately 400 billion yuan, of which the core host machinery industry will exceed 150 billion yuan, making it an important highland for China's construction machinery industry, talent, scientific and technological innovation, and intelligent manufacturing. Jiangsu's construction machinery industry is striving to become a *** manufacturing innovation center and has made positive progress. The plan is to establish 10 provincial-level or above enterprise technology centers and engineering technology (research) centers within the next five years, as well as add more than 10 provincial-level or above specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative (SRDI) enterprises.

By 2030, Jiangsu's construction machinery industry will achieve major breakthroughs, with significantly enhanced innovation capacity, markedly improved quality and efficiency, and deep application of artificial intelligence. In particular, representative products such as lifting machinery and road machinery will reach globally leading high-end, intelligent and green levels. The comprehensive strength of the construction machinery industry will also reach internationally advanced levels, and leading enterprises in the province will be driven to enter the top two in the global construction machinery industry and the Fortune Global 500. Jiangsu will basically build a *** advanced manufacturing cluster and an advantageous industrial chain with international competitiveness.

The Action Plan sets out nine key tasks:

1. Strengthen innovation capacity building, accelerate the construction of innovation platforms such as the Provincial High-end Construction Machinery and Core Components Innovation Center, support enterprises in building key laboratories, technology centers and research centers, and actively create technological innovation demonstration enterprises.

2. Accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies, focusing on intelligence, unmanned operation and electrification, concentrating on fields such as digital hydraulic components and high-efficiency transmission components, and speeding up the research and development of next-generation complete machines and core components.

3. Consolidate the industrial technology foundation, support the establishment of core component standards committees, encourage enterprises to build basic process innovation systems, and build public industrial technology service platforms.

4. Advance intelligent and digital transformation, and build intelligent manufacturing workshops and factories.

5. Build a green manufacturing system, accelerate the research, development and industrialization of new energy products, and promote green transformation and upgrading of enterprises.

6. Raise the level of international development, encourage enterprises to carry out international cooperation, and support the establishment of overseas R&D centers and global marketing and service systems.

7. Accelerate equipment renewal and promotion of application, and support the construction machinery industry in renewing and upgrading various types of production equipment.

8. Advance quality and brand building, guide enterprises to improve brand management systems, and build competitive industrial brands.

9. Promote industrial agglomeration and development, guide resources and innovation factors to gather in regions with a good industrial foundation and great development potential, and achieve sustainable industrial development.
