On June 3, the Renhe Tunnel of the Guangxi Liuwu Railway was successfully holed through. Among the whole line's major and difficult projects, this tunnel is the one excavated from a single end and holed through after more than 1,000 meters of construction, opening up yet another key girder-erection corridor route for the project.

The Renhe Tunnel of the Liuwu Railway is located in Cangwu County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi. It is a single-tube, double-track tunnel with a total length of 1,043 meters and a maximum burial depth of 75 meters, and it adopts a single-end excavation construction scheme.

The Liuwu Railway is an important component of the Liuzhou–Guangzhou Railway and is also a regional trunk railway accommodating both passenger and freight traffic. The project began full-scale construction on December 1, 2022 and is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2026. Once the line is completed and opened, it will be of great significance and play an important role in improving the regional railway transportation network, accelerating the construction of a major cross-regional railway transportation corridor, and promoting the better integration of central and eastern Guangxi into the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
