From June 2 to June 4, the completion acceptance meeting for Suzhou Rail Transit Line 6 was successfully held in Suzhou. A total of 14 industry experts from Nanjing, Wuxi, Xuzhou, Changzhou, Nantong and other places inspected and accepted the works of Line 6, including all stations, equipment, systems, the depot, the control center, main substations, and municipal supporting facilities. Representatives from relevant units including the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Suzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, the Health Commission, the Ecology and Environment Bureau, and the Emergency Management Bureau, as well as leaders of Suzhou Rail Transit Group, attended the completion acceptance meeting.

Suzhou Rail Transit Line 6 runs from Suzhou New District Railway Station in the west to Xinqing Road Station in the east, with a total length of 36.12 kilometers and 31 stations. It is an important passenger flow corridor running east-west through the ancient city and Jinji Lake, and also a key distribution line for intercity passenger flow.

For this acceptance, a completion acceptance committee for the Line 6 project was established, with four specialized acceptance groups under it: the comprehensive acceptance group, the civil engineering and decoration acceptance group, the electromechanical acceptance group, and the system acceptance group. Each acceptance group carried out on-site surveys, document spot checks, and on-site system (equipment) inspections, and conducted full exchanges with participating units including construction, design,施工 (construction), supervision, and consulting parties, ultimately forming the completion acceptance opinions.

The completion acceptance of the Line 6 project is a key node that serves as a bridge between the preceding and following stages in ensuring the safe entry into operation of rail transit projects, providing comprehensive support for the high-quality operation and high-quality development of Suzhou Rail Transit. Next, Suzhou Rail Transit Group will, in accordance with the experts' opinions, actively implement the completion acceptance opinions and further accelerate the finishing and closing of the works as well as work on surrounding roads, landscaping, B+R parking spaces, and other aspects.

It is understood that Line 6, which has successfully passed the completion acceptance, will next undergo a pre-initial-operation safety assessment. After the assessment is completed, a "10,000-person trial ride" event will be organized as soon as possible. Line 6 is scheduled to officially open for operation in June.
