Huang Jiaxiang, deputy manager of the Municipal Department of Nanning High-tech Industrial Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd., told reporters that since the beginning of this year, the construction party has overcome the impact of site and weather conditions and actively carried out various basic works such as earth backfilling for Plot No. 3 of the Nanning Sun Paper Phase II Project, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent full commencement of the project and the construction of factory buildings.
　　As an advanced global multinational papermaking group and a leading enterprise in China's papermaking industry, Sun Paper's Pulp and Paper Integration Technical Transformation and Supporting Industrial Park Project built in Nanning has completed Phase I construction and been put into production, and the products produced have been sold throughout the country.
　　"Nanning Sun Paper Co., Ltd. is the largest industrial enterprise investor in the Liujing Industrial Park of Nanning Eastern New City. "The terrain of this plot is low-lying, so site backfilling is required before the enterprise can carry out later construction work," Huang Jiaxiang said. At present, they have coordinated and deployed multiple excavators and more than 100 transport vehicles for the backfilling operation in Plot No. 3. "As the later work faces are opened up, we will continue to increase machinery, personnel, and working hours, do our utmost to overcome the adverse effects of rainy season weather, strive to achieve an average daily backfilling volume of more than 10,000 cubic meters, and go all out to complete the company's backfilling task."
　　At present, the Eastern New City is accelerating the progress of project commissioning, and the construction of productive supporting facilities in the park is comprehensively speeding up, setting off an upsurge of vigorous and rapid work. The municipal roads serving enterprise parks such as BYD Battery, Sun Paper, and Do-Fluoride in the Lingli area have met traffic conditions; the municipal roads serving upstream and downstream industries of new energy battery materials such as Andar and BTR in the Liujing area have started construction; and the Zhangcun-Liujing connection channel project linking the Eastern New City with the main urban area has also started construction, with transportation and logistics supporting facilities becoming increasingly complete. The original water supply plant is being upgraded and reconstructed to meet industrial and domestic water demand, while the water purification plant's capacity to treat industrial tailwater is being enhanced, accelerating the upgrading of enterprise water supply and drainage. Construction of a new 220 kV substation, supporting line construction, and an integrated source-grid-load-storage project is being accelerated; new gas gate stations and supporting pipelines serving the Eastern New City are being built to reduce enterprises' production electricity and gas costs, effectively enhancing power and gas supply guarantee capacity.
　　Focusing on projects and expanding investment is a pragmatic strategy for promoting high-quality development. The Eastern New City will continue to follow the progress of the Pinglu Canal construction, go all out to promote various construction efforts, strengthen full-life-cycle project services with high quality and efficiency, and do everything possible to ensure that signed projects land as soon as possible, landed projects commence construction as soon as possible, and commenced projects are put into production as soon as possible.
