June 5 (Xinhua) — According to the website of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the third round of the second batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspections recently reported a number of typical cases. The Supreme People's Procuratorate has decided to supervise and expedite the handling of three cases: the case involving Xu and others in Shanghai suspected of illegally felling trees, the case involving Guo Mouhua and others in Jiangxi suspected of illegally fishing aquatic products, and the case involving Wang Mouqiang and others in Jiangxi suspected of illegally fishing aquatic products.

It is reported that on May 7 this year, the third round of the second batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspections was launched, with seven inspection teams stationed in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Chongqing, and Yunnan. The inspections focused on the protection of the Yangtze River.
