On June 2, the reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport that, in order to ensure the smooth progress of wheat machine harvesting during the "Three Summer" period and in response to the upcoming peak of cross-regional agricultural machinery transport across various regions, the Ministry of Transport, together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, issued the "Notice on Effectively Ensuring Passage Services for Cross-Regional Agricultural Machinery Transport During the 'Three Summer' Period" to strengthen the service guarantee for cross-regional agricultural machinery transport passage.

　　The "Notice" requires that transport authorities in all regions do a good job in matching supply and demand for cross-regional agricultural machinery transport, and fully implement the policies of priority licensing and toll-free passage for the transport of large agricultural machinery; at the same time, strengthen organizational leadership and resolve difficulties in the passage of cross-regional agricultural machinery transport through "coordination on a case-by-case basis."

　　In order to ensure the safe and smooth operation of combine harvester transport and protect the safety of people's lives and property, the Ministry of Transport reminds users of combine harvesters to, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations such as the "Highway Law" and the "Road Traffic Safety Law," lawfully select transport vehicles whose approved load capacity and carriage length and width match the weight and dimensions of the combine harvester, so as to avoid traffic accidents caused by illegal over-limit and overloaded transport or being handled according to law, which would delay cross-regional operations. When transporting extra-large combine harvesters that exceed highway limits for load, height, width, or length, an over-limit transport permit shall also be obtained in accordance with law, and the bearing capacity and passability of the route shall be confirmed.
