On May 29, the Yaojiashan Left Line Tunnel of the Chongqing East Ring Project was successfully holed through. This is the third tunnel to be holed through this year following the Zhujiawan Tunnel and the Nanshancun Tunnel, marking yet another major breakthrough in the construction of the Chongqing East Station passenger train connecting line.

According to reports, the Yaojiashan Left Line Tunnel is located in Changshengqiao, Nan'an District, Chongqing, with a total length of 1,782.392 meters. Construction personnel gave top priority to safety and quality, combining the dual prevention mechanism with the "three-ization" management requirements to strictly control safety and quality at the construction site and ensure the smooth and orderly progress of the project. Faced with the challenges of a tight schedule, heavy tasks, and high difficulty, measures such as adding an inclined shaft and increasing the number of working faces effectively improved construction efficiency and ensured the goal of smoothly holing through the tunnel on May 30.
