Recently, staff members from the Changde City Housing Security Service Center and their delegation conducted on-site research on the commencement and construction progress of Changde City's 2024 public rental housing and affordable rental housing construction projects, coordinated efforts to resolve difficulties and bottlenecks, pressed the "accelerator" on the construction of subsidized housing projects in Changde City, and helped more people realize their dream of stable housing as soon as possible.

From May 15 to May 21, staff members from the Changde City Housing Security Service Center conducted on-site inspections of construction projects including the Qingshan Affordable Rental Housing project in Linli County, Changde City, Phase II of the Anfu Public Rental Housing project in Linli County, the Affordable Rental Housing project at the Fengjiapu Town Health Center in Hanshou County, and the Affordable Rental Housing project in Pantang Town, Taoyuan County. They also put forward specific requirements regarding the 2024 provincial key livelihood projects, projects not yet completed in 2023, and projects with slower progress this year: all counties and districts must further tighten responsibility; for projects with slower progress, schedules must be worked backward from the goal of achieving a 100% commencement rate by June 30; project progress must be reported weekly, and the Changde City Housing Security Service Center will conduct irregular on-site supervision based on actual project progress, vigorously drive project construction progress, make every effort to ensure that the city's subsidized housing projects achieve a 100% commencement rate by the end of June, and truly turn "livelihood projects" into "projects that win public support."

It is understood that this year Changde City plans to raise 2,576 units of public rental housing and 3,200 units of affordable rental housing. At present, 2,235 units of the provincial key livelihood projects have commenced construction. Housing is both a major livelihood issue and a major development issue. Next, Changde City will continue to advance project construction progress and complete construction tasks with quality and quantity as required.
