With the arrival of the golden construction season in the second quarter, the construction site of the Xiong'an Hub Project of the Xiong'an-Shangqiu High-Speed Railway, undertaken by China Railway Sixth Group Beijing Railway Construction Company, presents a bustling scene. All builders are working hard on the front line of construction, and works such as subgrade, bridges, and building construction are proceeding in an orderly manner.

"The Xiong'an Hub Project includes the 'three bridges and two depots,' covering multiple specialized types of construction such as subgrade, bridges, track, and building construction, placing high demands on comprehensive construction capability. In addition, all bridge girders of this project are cast-in-place, and the proportion of construction on operating railway lines is high, with strict quality requirements and significant safety risks, making it very important to implement safety measures," said Duan Jinlong, deputy secretary of the Party branch and chief engineer of the Xiong'an-Shangqiu Project Department.

To ensure the safe and high-quality progress of the project, the project department has actively promoted the application of BIM technology. By establishing a BIM+GIS electronic sand table model and a visualized collision model, it has not only optimized spatial positions and layouts and guided on-site construction, but also enabled the timely discovery and elimination of potential safety hazards, safeguarding project construction.

Up to now, construction of the Xiong'an Hub Project has fully entered the fast track. Construction of the bridge substructure has been completed by 70%; the concrete main structures of the crew apartment building and staff dormitories have been fully completed. At the same time, the station area works of the stabling lines at the Xiong'an EMU Depot are being steadily and orderly advanced, laying a solid foundation for setting off a new upsurge of intensive construction.

It is reported that once the project is completed, it will achieve interconnection between the Tianjin urban area and the Xiong'an New Area, and will have a far-reaching impact on accelerating the building of the 'Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on Track' and optimizing and improving the layout of the railway network in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
