Recently, at the construction site of the Linhai Reservoir Project, a provincial key project, multiple work faces are accelerating simultaneous construction, presenting a bustling scene of vigorous effort and accelerated progress.

　　The Linhai Reservoir Project has a total investment of over 3.8 billion yuan. It is a large-scale water conservancy hub primarily focused on urban water supply, combined with flood control and irrigation, and also incorporating power generation and other comprehensive uses. The project has been included in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" water security plan and is an important node project of the "Longjiang Water Network."

　　According to reports, the breakthrough of the diversion tunnel is a key step in the Linhai Reservoir Project construction. In order to achieve the construction goal as soon as possible, the Linhai Reservoir Project Office, targeting the geological characteristics of the diversion tunnel, customized professional equipment for it—a needle beam trolley. The diversion tunnel is located on the right bank of the Hailang River and consists of an approach channel section, inlet section, tunnel body section, plugging body, and outlet section. The tunnel body has a total length of 471 meters, adopts a circular cross-section with a diameter of 7 meters, and has a diversion design flow of 324 cubic meters per second. Due to the complex geological conditions around the diversion tunnel, the small construction space, and the high construction difficulty, the needle beam trolley developed by the Linhai Reservoir Project Office is 10 meters long, with a needle beam length of 24 meters. This equipment can achieve high-precision, high-efficiency formwork positioning and concrete pouring work inside the tunnel, providing strong guarantees for the construction quality of the tunnel inner wall.

　　With the support of professional equipment, the project construction progress has noticeably accelerated. At the construction site of the Linhai Reservoir Project in Hailin City, machines roar, equipment runs continuously, transport vehicles shuttle back and forth, and workers are carrying out construction operations in a tense and orderly manner.

　　Chen Shichao, deputy chief engineer of the Linhai Reservoir Hub Project Department of Heilongjiang Provincial Water Resources and Hydropower Group, said: "We are making every effort to advance the construction of the gravity dam project, fishway project, and diversion tunnel project. We are currently building the province's largest dual-240 mixing plant and the steel cylinder LIPU silo feeding system, and the sand and gravel processing plant is also under production and construction. While ensuring quality and safety, we strive to increase the input of personnel and mechanical equipment, work overtime, and complete the Linhai Reservoir construction task on schedule."

　　It is understood that after the Linhai Reservoir Project is completed, it can provide high-quality water sources to downstream cities, ensure water supply security, raise the flood control standard from once in 20 years to once in 30 years, effectively regulate the runoff of the Hailang River, improve the regional water ecological environment, increase the irrigation guarantee rate, and also utilize hydropower resources for power generation. It is of great significance for promoting regional economic and social development and improving residents' production and living conditions.
