Recently, at the construction site of the new China Light Textile City Grain, Oil and Cold-Chain Logistics Center project, located west of Linhang Avenue and south of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Passenger Dedicated Line in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, machines roared and welding sparks flew, presenting a busy scene. With a total investment of 1.08 billion yuan, the project has been included in Zhejiang Province's "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" program for 2024, and construction has been advancing at full speed since it broke ground in late February 2024.

Since 2024, anchored to the goal of "vigorously pursuing projects and pursuing major projects," Shaoxing City has continued to whip up a boom in "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" construction, empowering major projects to speed up and improve efficiency through intensive and solid actions.

　　It is reported that in 2024, a total of 92 projects in Shaoxing City were included in the first batch of Zhejiang Province's "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" program, with an annual planned investment of 58.3 billion yuan, ranking third in the province by investment amount. As of the end of April, among the 19 newly built "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" projects, 15 have started construction, including the China Light Textile City Grain, Oil and Cold-Chain Logistics Center, the Yellow Rice Wine Town Urban Flood Control and Drainage Project, and the Intelligent Vision Innovation Manufacturing Base, achieving a start-up rate of 78.9%, ranking among the top in the province.

After the project is completed and put into use, it will provide one-stop services integrating "cold-chain storage and logistics + grain and oil wholesale + e-commerce," promote industrial alignment, reduce transaction costs, improve enterprise efficiency, and enrich the shopping experience of residents.

　　"The 'Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan' program covers nine major fields, including advanced manufacturing bases, scientific and technological innovation foundations, and a strong transportation province. This is an important increment for Shaoxing's economy to maintain steady progress in the future," said the person in charge of the Shaoxing Municipal Development and Reform Commission. To accelerate project transformation, generation, and implementation, in March 2024 Shaoxing City specially organized the project "early-stage breakthrough month" activity, convened a joint departmental review meeting, and conducted item-by-item joint review and diagnosis of 133 key new projects and 18 early-stage projects, comprehensively sorting out the "element physical examination list" and the "required document gap-filling list." Through this round of breakthrough efforts, 81 projects are expected to start construction ahead of schedule, with an average speed-up of 2.4 months, and an estimated additional investment of 14.3 billion yuan is expected to be added within 2024.
