According to the official WeChat account of the All-China Women's Federation on the 29th, as International Children's Day approaches, 11 departments including the All-China Women's Federation, the Central Office of Spiritual Civilization Development, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the National Working Committee for Children, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Health Commission, the National Radio and Television Administration, the National Press and Publication Administration, and the China National Working Committee for the Wellbeing of the Next Generation have jointly issued a notice, making arrangements for localities and relevant departments to carry out a rich variety of activities around the theme "Children's Hearts Turn to the Party, Growing Up Together with the Motherland," so that children across the country can enjoy a healthy, happy and meaningful holiday.

　　The notice points out that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China. Localities and departments should seize the opportunity of International Children's Day, rely on patriotic education bases at all levels and of all types, make good use of red resources and traditional cultural resources, and leverage the advantages of public cultural facilities such as science and technology museums, museums and libraries as well as out-of-school education venues for children, to carefully organize themed practice and publicity activities such as themed team days, exhibitions and performances, and recitation of red classics, so that children can personally experience in practice the world-renowned achievements of the motherland's development, draw strength to forge ahead, and from an early age harbor a patriotic heart and steadfastly pursue the aspiration to serve the country.

　　The notice requires that during the holiday period, localities and departments should organize celebration activities that are close to children, lively and interesting, and combine education with entertainment, to enrich children's spiritual and cultural life; focus on mental health, prevention of internet addiction, and safety education, and through both online and offline channels launch family education micro-courses, hold parent classes, and carry out parenting consultations, to widely popularize the concepts and knowledge of family education; and through activities such as mock courts and open days at courts and procuratorates, carry out rule-of-law publicity and education to enhance children's self-protection awareness and abilities.

　　The notice emphasizes that localities and departments should focus on migrant children, left-behind children and children in difficult circumstances, organize various forms of condolence and assistance, and mobilize volunteers such as caring mothers to carry out companionship and care activities, so that children across the country can feel that the care of the Party and the government is close at hand, and so that the concept of children first and the social trend of caring for children can be vigorously promoted throughout society.
