Recently, aerial drone photography captured the initial majestic appearance of the two "ding"-shaped double-tower cable-stayed bridge main structures of the Hangbu River Grand Bridge on the Huizhou Avenue South Extension Project in Tongda Town, Lujiang County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, marking a phased achievement in the bridge's construction and laying a solid foundation for the smooth closure of the bridge in the next step.

The main bridge of the Hangbu River Grand Bridge has a total length of 315 meters and is a double-tower low-tower cable-stayed bridge. The bridge towers adopt a "ding"-shaped design, elegant and imposing, and the bridge deck is wide and smooth, symbolizing the driving role of Hefei's urban construction on surrounding areas, while also implying the importance of Huizhou Avenue to the transportation of the entire Hefei region in the future. To facilitate communication between the two banks, pedestrian and non-motorized lanes are ingeniously arranged beneath the cantilevers on both sides of the main bridge.

The Lujiang section of Huizhou Avenue in Hefei City, Anhui Province, starts north of the Hangbu River Bridge and is 29.5 kilometers long, with a design speed of 80 km/h, a dual six-lane Class I highway, and a roadbed width of 32 meters. The main line of the project is fully grade-separated with no traffic lights, and signal-controlled at-grade intersections are provided beneath the bridges to ensure fast and efficient passenger transport. The opening of the entire line will greatly relieve the southbound traffic pressure of Hefei and bring great convenience to the travel of surrounding residents.
