Recently, the shield machine "Shengyong No. 3" achieved breakthrough and excavation on the left line of the section from Yanshan Overpass East Station to Jiangshuiquan Road Station in Work Zone 07 of Phase I of Jinan Rail Transit Line 4.

It is reported that the left line of the section from Yanshan Overpass East Station to Jiangshuiquan Road Station has a total length of 507.661 meters and is one of the controlling works of Phase I of Jinan Rail Transit Line 4. The entire section passes beneath Jingshi Road, where ground traffic volume is heavy and safety risks are high. To strengthen safety risk control, the project team carried out technical research, organized multiple expert review meetings, formulated special construction plans and emergency response plans, and assembled and commissioned the shield machine to high standards, ensuring construction quality and safety.

Previously, the main mined section of Jiangshuiquan Road Station successfully achieved breakthrough. This is the **large-cross-section mined station crossing an intersection of the project. Jiangshuiquan Road Station is located at the intersection of Jingshi Road and Jiangshuiquan Road and is a three-level underground island-type station. The station adopts the construction method of open excavation at both ends and mined excavation for the road-crossing section, among which the mined section has a total length of 58 meters and is constructed by the secondary lining arch-cover method with excavation in four drifts.

Phase I of Jinan Rail Transit Line 4 has attracted much public attention. The line has a total length of 40.2 kilometers and a total of 33 stations, 26 of which are located along Jingshi Road. Upon completion, the project will greatly alleviate traffic pressure on Jingshi Road, effectively connect important urban functional areas such as Jinan West Station, the CBD, the Olympic Sports Center, and the Jinan area of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, and strengthen east-west connections within the city. As of now, the number of shield machines excavating simultaneously across the entire project has reached 18, further accelerating construction.
