On May 23, as the cutterhead of the "Fenjin" (Striving) shield machine slowly rotated, the shield machine for the right line of the section from Yingxiong Park Station to Tieshan Road Station on Shenyang Metro Line 6, jointly constructed by Shenyang Municipal and China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group, was successfully launched, marking the project's official entry into the shield tunneling construction stage.

The Yingxiong Park–Tieshan Road section runs beneath Yalujiang Street, with a single-line length of approximately 683 meters. It is designed as a single-tube, single-track circular structure with a line spacing of 15 meters and a minimum curve radius of 1,500 meters. The tunnel crown cover depth ranges from about 10.77 to 11.26 meters. The strata crossed by the section are mainly medium-coarse sand and gravelly sand, with local crossings of round gravel. The tunneling adopts staggered-joint assembly of precast reinforced concrete segments. Prior to launch, Shenyang Metro Group and the project department planned ahead, refined all tasks, clarified responsibilities, and scientifically formulated the construction plan. They selected the shield machine based on the section's geological conditions and smoothly completed each milestone, including lifting and lowering the shield machine into the shaft, installation and commissioning, condition acceptance, and safety verification.

Subsequently, after completing the shield tunneling task for the right line of the section, the "Fenjin" shield machine will be lifted out at Yingxiong Park Station and relocated to Tieshan Road Station to continue the shield tunneling task for the left line of the section.
