On May 21 it was learned that for the 10 lines under construction in Chengdu Rail Transit Phase IV, including the Chengdu-Ziyang Line and the Chengdu-Deyang and Chengdu-Meishan suburban (city-region) railways, 105 stations have already been topped out, cumulative shield tunneling has reached 94% of the total, track laying has completed 83% of the total, and mechanical and electrical installation and decoration have fully entered the site for construction, continuously refreshing the construction "progress" bar.

Recently, the entire track area of the Chengdu Rail Transit Line 27 Phase I project was handed over to Chengdu Metro Operations Company, marking that the line has fully shifted into the train debugging stage and laying a solid foundation for initial operation within the year. During track laying, nearly 800 personnel and about 40 sets of mechanical equipment were deployed across the line, completing the task of laying 38.5 kilometers of track within 90 days.

At the same time, the Line 27 Phase I project innovatively adopted intelligent construction technologies, effectively improving project quality and construction efficiency. According to the relevant person in charge of the Line 27 Phase I project, the project put into use intelligent construction technologies and equipment such as concrete robots, multifunctional integrated operation platform vehicles for track areas, and SAC prefabricated assembly technology, effectively achieving intelligent assembly construction across all disciplines and all processes.

At present, all 23 stations of the Line 27 Phase I project have been topped out, achieving milestone goals such as bridge connection, tunnel connection, track connection, and ring-network power connection. All stations are fully carrying out mechanical and electrical decoration works and will continue to push forward with system debugging, station handover, project acceptance, and other related work, accelerating toward the goal of initial operation within the year.

The three rail transit lines connecting the four cities of Chengdu, Deyang, Meishan, and Ziyang are also continuing to advance. Among them, the Chengdu-Ziyang Line has completed the handover of the track area and depot sections and the stationing of personnel at interlocking stations; project construction has entered the closing stage; the main structures and ancillary structures of all 7 stations along the line have been completed; the overall completion rate of post-station works is nearly 98%; interior decoration construction at all stations along the line has been fully rolled out; and initial operation is expected in the second half of this year. For the Chengdu-Deyang suburban (city-region) railway, 21 work sites have started construction, shield machines are being prepared for lowering, assembly, and debugging, and the first shield launch along the entire line will be achieved in the near future. For the Chengdu-Meishan suburban (city-region) railway, the underground section of the Meishan segment has entered shield construction, and 11 stations including Honglian Station, Qinhuangsi Station, and Guantang Station have entered the civil construction stage.

Next, Chengdu Rail Transit Group will advance at full speed the construction of 302 kilometers across 10 lines under construction in Phase IV and the suburban (city-region) railways, promote the high-quality opening within the year of Line 8 Phase II, Line 27 Phase I, and the Chengdu-Ziyang Line, and, from a higher starting point, promote rail transit and urban development to resonate at the same frequency and move forward in the same direction.
