Recently, the first diaphragm wall panel of the civil engineering works at Minhang Development Zone Station on Phase I of Rail Transit Line 23 was successfully excavated, marking that Minhang Development Zone Station has fully entered the construction stage of the main retaining structure.

Minhang Development Zone Station is the starting station of Rail Transit Line 23. It is located on the west side of the intersection of Dongchuan Road and Tianning Road, spans Bixi Road, and is arranged in an east-west direction along Dongchuan Road within the plot on the north side of the road. The main station type is an underground two-story open-cut island platform station, with a total of 153 diaphragm wall panels. The station has three ground-level entrances/exits and two ventilation pavilion groups.

The successful installation of the first diaphragm wall panel also won valuable time and created favorable conditions for subsequent construction.

Recently, with the completion of excavation of the last portion of soil, the Phase II earthwork excavation at Mojiang Road Station of Civil Engineering Section 8 on Phase I of Shanghai Metro Line 23 has been successfully completed, marking formal entry into the main structure construction stage.

Main structure construction begins for Phase II of Mojiang Road Station on Phase I of Line 23

The Phase II station main structure at Mojiang Road Station has a total net internal length of 311 meters and a standard section net width of 19.54 meters. It is an underground two-story frame structure, with the main foundation pit embedded at a depth of 19.3 to 21.1 meters, constructed by the open-cut bottom-up method. At present, the cushion layer of the main structure has been fully poured, and 3 of the 5 base slabs have been poured. The main structure is expected to be completed and capped by the end of August.

Civil Engineering Section 13 of Phase I of Rail Transit Line 23 recently successfully completed the traffic diversion for Longqi Road Station and Longcao Road Station. Under multiple challenges, ** key construction milestones were completed, creating the necessary conditions for the main construction of the "Double Dragon" stations.

Longqi Road Station is an underground three-story island platform station with dimensions of 165 meters x 20.54 meters. The station is located on the east side of the intersection of Longwu Road and Xitai Road in Xuhui District and is arranged in a north-south direction along Longwu Road. It has a total of 3 entrances/exits and 3 ventilation shaft groups.

Longcao Road Station is an underground three-story island platform station with dimensions of 165 meters x 22.29 meters. The station is located on the south side of the intersection of Longcao Road and Longwu Road and is arranged in a north-south direction along Longwu Road. It has a total of 3 entrances/exits and 3 ventilation pavilion groups. After opening in the future, Longcao Road Station on Line 23 will provide transfers with Longcao Road Station on Line 3 and Line 12.

On May 12, Wujing North Station of Section 8 of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 23 successfully completed road traffic diversion, providing favorable conditions for the construction of the station's main structure. Wujing North Station is located on the west side of Longwu Road. It is an underground two-story island platform station with dimensions of 214.6 meters x 19.54 meters, and has 3 entrances/exits and 2 ventilation pavilion groups.
