Recently, with the successful completion of pouring 727 cubic meters of C35P8 concrete, the roof slab of Entrance/Exit D at Xigu Park Station on Tianjin Metro Line 4 was successfully capped, marking that the project has officially kicked off the decoration and finishing construction of the ancillary works and laying a solid foundation for the line to open and operate on schedule.

Xigu Park Station is located at the intersection of Wuzhonghou Avenue and Hongqiao North Street in Hongqiao District, Tianjin, and is laid out east-west along Wuzhonghou Avenue. The station has a total of 4 entrances/exits and 2 ventilation pavilions, of which Entrance/Exit D is located on the northeast side of the station and is constructed by the open-cut method. It is a one-story underground frame structure with a standard foundation pit depth of 11.7 m. The retaining structure adopts an 850@600 steel-reinforced cement-soil mixing wall (with steel sections inserted every other position), and a two-level bracing system is provided: the first level consists of reinforced concrete struts with a cross-section of 800 mm × 800 mm, and the second level consists of 609 (800) steel pipe struts with t=16 mm.

Since resuming work and production after the Spring Festival, the construction contractor has strictly implemented the leadership shift supervision system and strictly followed the construction plan during foundation pit excavation, achieving "frequent measurement, timely support, and rapid shotcreting" and carrying out foundation pit dewatering as needed, effectively ensuring that the surrounding environment settlement and foundation pit displacement and deformation values meet the specification requirements. During the construction of the reinforced concrete frame structure, the construction contractor vigorously strengthened safety skills education and training for laborers, further improving labor efficiency; strictly controlled the quality of incoming materials and strictly implemented the "three inspections" system for each process, ensuring the engineering quality of the physical structure; optimized the construction plan, actively overcame the difficulties of a confined site, rationally allocated production materials, and scientifically organized construction production, thereby successfully completing the capping milestone target.
