　　In accordance with the unified deployment of the special action to combat and rectify online rumors by higher-level public security organs, the Shenzhen Cyber Police have continued to strengthen their efforts against online rumors, effectively maintaining a normal and orderly cyberspace order.

　　On May 10, 2024, the Shenzhen Cyber Police discovered during their work that a netizen surnamed Li had created the topic [#Police Bulletin on the Shenzhen Cement-Encased Corpse Case#] on a social platform, which subsequently attracted netizen attention.

　　The police verified the relevant situation at the first opportunity and confirmed that no cement-encased corpse case had occurred in Shenzhen, and that the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau had not issued any police bulletin as described in the topic.

　　On May 11, the public security organ summoned Li in accordance with the law. Investigation revealed that, in order to latch onto a trending topic and attract attention, Li fabricated the claim that the Shenzhen public security organ had issued a relevant police situation bulletin and created the topic on a social platform, leaving some concerned netizens deeply puzzled and uneasy.

　　At present, the public security organ has imposed an administrative detention penalty on Li in accordance with the law.

　　The public security organ reminds the public that the Internet is not a place outside the law, and that people must not post false or fabricated information online out of greed for traffic or to attract attention. For acts of deliberately fabricating, spreading, and disseminating rumors online, the public security organ will resolutely crack down in accordance with the law.
