On May 14, as the final reinforcement cage was lowered smoothly into the trench and concrete pouring was completed, all 19 diaphragm walls in Zone 2 of Jinyun Road Station, Section 12 of the Shanghai Suburban Railway Jiamin Line—invested in and constructed by Shanghai Shentie and built by China Railway Seventh Group—were fully completed.

Jinyun Road Station of Section 12 is located south of the intersection of Jinyun Road and Jinshajiang West Road in Jiading District. It is a three-level underground island-type station with a total length of 531 meters and a standard section width of 20.6 meters, featuring three entrances and exits and three groups of ventilation pavilions.

The construction of the station's main retaining structure uses 1.2-meter-thick diaphragm walls, TRD cement-soil mixing walls, and triple-axis mixing piles. The excavation depth of the end shaft of the station foundation pit is 26.3 meters, and the excavation depth of the standard section is 25.3 meters.

Jinyun Road Station is adjacent to the existing Metro Line 13. Under the overall deployment and advance organization of Shanghai Shentie, the project team held multiple technical special meetings, organized experts to study and improve the construction plan, and scientifically arranged construction scheduling. By optimizing construction hours, strengthening safety control and monitoring in the protection zone, and implementing green construction measures such as sound barriers, protective fencing, and welding fume collectors, the impact on the surrounding environment was further reduced. From plan disclosure to quality acceptance, high standards and strict requirements were consistently maintained to ensure the safety and stability of project construction.

The Jiamin Line has a total length of 44.04 kilometers and passes through two administrative districts, Jiading and Minhang. The entire line has 15 stations, and the maximum operating speed of trains is 160 kilometers per hour. According to the plan, it is an important north-south main trunk line in Shanghai's suburban railway network, a major line connecting important new towns and transportation hubs such as Jiading New Town, Hongqiao Hub, and Minhang, and an important component of the "Yangtze River Delta on Rails." After the project is completed, it will achieve interconnection with the Airport Link Line, greatly ease the pressure of gathering and distributing passengers at Hongqiao Hub, and become a new engine driving the economy of western Shanghai.
